I just returned from the Flying Horse Shoe Ranch in Cle Elum, WA. What a great little place. My daughter’s girl scout troop had a fabulous time riding the horses, swimming, hanging out by the campfire and just being goofy girls! It was fun for me to have some different scenery to photograph.

A fun slide show from last week at Wright Park.

This photo was taken in Downtown Tacoma with my Canon 5D and 70-200/2.8L lens at 200mm. The settings were f/4.0, 1/400 and ISO 250.

More from our weekend in the Olympic National Park.

We just spent a fantastic weekend camping at Kalaloch Beach in the Olympic National Forest. What a gorgeous spot! Most of these photos were taken at Ruby Beach, which is one of the most spectatcular beaches I have ever seen.

I spent the afternoon at Wright Park in Tacoma with this family. It was a beautiful day and the light was gorgeous!

I love this beach photo. I can only imagine what they are talking about.

This photo was taken last summer at Twin Harbors State Park on the Washington coast. I took it with my Canon 30D and 70-200/2.8L lens. The settings were (f/10, 1/160, ISO 100). Processed in Adobe Lightroom only.
A couple product photos. I love these Gallery Wrap Canvas Prints! They make a beautiful piece of fine art for your home. They can be made from one photo or several like this one.

If you’ve been looking for my Kris Allen Photography Facebook page you may have noticed that it is missing. I’m having a bit of a problem with Facebook thinking that I am impersonating the Kris Allen who won American Idol. I’m hoping to get it resolved soon, but in the meantime feel free to friend me on Facebook if you want to follow my work that way.
A few more from Sunday at the Arboretum.

I spent some time with this family at the Seattle Arboretum this weekend. What a gorgeous spot and we lucked out on the weather. It was sprinkling when I arrived but fortunately the sun came out and the rain stayed away!
