I’m busy working on a client order today and while finishing up their images I found this family portrait taken in downtown Tacoma. This is my favorite type of family photo – one where you can feel the emotion.
As a photographer, I’m always working to improve my craft. My current focus is to improve my non-people photos. Yesterday, I had a little project to photograph non-people. Here are a few of my favorites. Of course, I had to photograph a few people too. Especially when the kids found a snake . . .
I met these siblings and their Mom at Dash Point State Park this morning. What a gorgeous (and hot!) day it was. The tide was way out too giving us a lot of beach to play with. Then we took some senior portraits at the barn where this senior used to keep her horse.
I met up with this extended family at Palisades Park in Federal Way last night. Candid shots are always my favorite, so I really enjoyed being able to capture the kids in action on the big toy.
We spent the weekend camping at Twin Harbors State Park on the Washington Coast. Twin Harbors is a beautiful beach near the fishing town of Westport, WA.
